New Hampshire Department of Transportation Historic Bridge Survey
Statewide, New Hampshire
Hunter Research developed a scope-of-work for this comprehensive planning survey for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation in close cooperation with the New Hampshire Division of Historic Resources and the Federal Highway Administration. The data compiled on over 2,600 bridges were designed to assist the agencies with planning for and fulfilling the requirements of Sections 106 and 4(f) insofar as these involve transportation projects with the potential to affect historic bridges. Data were compiled in a GIS database supported by a three-volume technical report that included a historic context and historic bridge management plan.
